The Central Circuit Trail
The central circuit trail is not challenging as the Kilembe Trail. This is the traditional trail and the oldest within the national park that has been used by various trekkers who visited Rwenzori before 2009. It is managed by Rwenzori Mountaineering Services. Kilembe Trail – Rwenzori Mountain Hiking Trails
Kilembe trail is a bit challenging rising in the southern slopes of the Rwenzori from a trailhead at Kilembe mines, just near the town of Kasese. The trail is surrounded with a beautiful scenery including the Nyamwamba Valley, Lake Kitandara, Mount Baker and many more.
Mahoma Trail – Rwenzori Mountain Hiking Trails
The Mahoma trail is endowed with such primates as blue, colobus, red-tailed monkeys, some bird species like the Rwenzori Turaco and the famous three-horned chameleons. As you continue moving through the bamboo and heather forest, this is where you expect to see some forest elephants or their footprints in this area.

This a short hiking adventure where you explore Mountain Rwenzori National Park, culture of the people around the park and the famous river called River Mubuku. Bulemba Ihandiro Cultural Trail
This trail takes you to a great cultural value of Bakonzo people.
