Saad Hotel is located in the heart of Kasese town in Western Uganda, along the great western rift valley. This is below the great Rwenzori Mountains also known as ‘Mountains of the moon’.
Saad hotel is one of the first hotels to be opened in Kasese town in 1978, dedicated to provide an excellent and profound service. Kasese town was the only trading centre within the Rwenzori region, so Saad Hotel was opened due to increased number of tourists in this region in which Queen Elizabeth National Park and Rwenzori Mountains National Park like.
This part of Uganda is endowed with amazing geographical features including; Lakes Edward, George, and Katwe; and Rivers Nyamwamba and Rubooni; which flow from the glaciers of Mountain Rwenzori, covering over 50 craters. Queen Elizabeth National Park is also a home to millions of wild species including lions, buffalos, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, hyenas, wild pigs and many more.

Accommodation at Saad Hotel
Saad Hotel has a total number of twenty-two rooms, ten apartments, a banking facility, two conference halls and shopping outlets. There is a sitting place of about 60 people in the restaurant with walls and painting of that portrays the savannah vegetation and mountain sceneries that surrounds the environment.
The hotel has 16 fully furnished apartments that are mostly occupied by business class people who require staying for a long time. Six apartments are self contained, with TV sets, working space, wardrobe, 24hr room service, intercom telephone and a fan. 8 apartments are also self-contained, with one bed room, sitting room, kitchen, TV set and a balcony. Two apartments are also self-contained with one master bed room, two rooms, a sitting room, dining and kitchen. All apartments are fully furnished.
Food and Other Facilities
Such dishes as continental dishes, African cuisines, Indian Cuisines, Coastal cuisines and all foods are served in Saad hotel. However, alcohol and all kinds of drugs are not served or permitted within the hotel premises. The hotel also offers outside catering services under arranged requests.
There is a health license that certifies the cleanliness and hygienic standards under which the hotel operates. So, it’s the hotel’s first priority to see that the best service, more than guests’ expectations is delivered, to satisfy customers’ needs.
Saad Hotel has two operating banking halls, that is, Stanbic Bank and Pride Micro Finance, which offer forex facilities and all banking needs you might need from a bank. There is also a 24 hour ATM machine on the premises, as well as about twenty shopping outlets nearby that sell and offer services like; salon and barber, boutique, computer maintenance, secretarial bureau and a phone shop. All these facilities are found to be helpful to the guests and are also permitted within the hotel premises to the clients’ convenience.

Within a close range from Saad Hotel are the famous Rwenzori Mountains well known for adventurous mountain hiking. Queen Elizabeth National Park, base camp hot springs, salty Lake Katwe and the experiential cultural traditional practices of the Bakonjo and Batooro people, are some of the nearby attractions.
Geographical features such as Lake Edward and Lake George, in this part of Uganda for which their source are the Rwenzori Mountains snow-capped peaks. These melt to form glacial rivers that flow through rivers Nyamwamba, Rubooni and many others, which end up filling the lakes in the rift valley.
